Dal Khalsa Pays Tribute To Shaheeds Of June 1984 - 1984 2010 WE WILL NEVER FORGET

**DAL KHALSA PAYS TRIBUTE TO THOSE WHO BECAME SHAHEED ON
THIS DAY JUNE 4TH 1984 DEFENDING THE HARMANDAR SAHIB COMPLEX FROM
THE HINDU INDIAN ARMY WHICH LAUNCHED A FULL SCALE TERRORIST MILITARY
ATTACK ON SIKHISM'S HOLIEST SHRINE,THE DARKEST DAYS OF RECENT SIKH
HISTORY BEGAN 26 YRS AGO ON THIS DAY- NEVER FORGET 1984 - KHALISTAN ZINDABAD**

Dal Khalsa pays tribute to those great Sikh Soldiers of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji who fought and became Shaheed defending Sri Harmandar Sahib Complex & Sri Akal Takht Sahib 26 years ago.Under the leadership of Iconic Sikh Generals such as
Mahan Shaheed Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale, Shaheed Bhai Amrik Singh Ji,Shaheed Bhai Subegh Singh Ji & Shaheed Baba Thara Singh, the Sikhs fought with such ferocity that the Hindu Indian Army being one of the most powerful armies on Earth could not move even a few yards for nearly a Week.

So great were these Sikhs that no enemy could even move without being eliminated, against all odds the Sikhs defended the honour of Sikhism and Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji ,through which the enemy bullets of Hindu India went through.Even after bringing in Tanks and launching a full scale War on Sri Harmandar Sahib and Panjab they still struggled. The evil that was unleashed cannot be described and is mind shattering from Women and Girls being raped,Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji shot at alongside Sri Harmandar Sahib, Sri Akal Takht Sahib being blown up by Military Tanks of the Indian Army,to small kids being shot dead along with old age Grandfathers and Grandmothers. In an attempt to wipe out Sikhism and Sikhs the Reference library which contained saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and handwritten hukamnamas and other historical artefacts was looted and burned in order to wipe out our History.

The Sikh Defenders still even after the tanks rolled in and crushed the delicate marble fought with their heads up high shouting jakareh,it took the Indian Army chemical gas (which is illegal under international law)to neutralise those Soormeh who fought till the very end.

So evil were the Army after the Hindutva Terrorist attack on our holiest Shrine that they even tortured the dead bodies of Sikh Shaheeds ,from Shaheed Bhai Subegh Singh by scalping his head and putting barbed wire and metal rods through him to Shaheed Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale's body which can be seen in pictures to be in a horrific state.

Dal Khalsa salutes these Mahan Soormeh and Shaheeds who gave their lives in front of Tanks and Bullets, some were meditating, some had come to mark Gurpurab and some had come to join the ranks of the Sikh Defenders who knew that an attack was impending. All were United under One Nishan Sahib and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji ,it is the duty of every Sikh to put aside all differences and to keep alive the legacy of these Shaheeds and not let no one or any Government tell us who our Shaheeds are or to Forget them.We Sikhs ceased to be Indians the day the Hindu Indian Army set foot in our holiest Shrine to equate a true Sikh with an Indian is call a Jew a Nazi, never again shall we fly the Indian Flag or defend India's borders Never again will we as the Sikh Nation trust the Hindutva State of India which kills minorities and commits open Genocide on us.

As was said by Giani Amolak Singh in the aftermath of June 1984 ' They think the Golden Temple Action is over .......but this is the start..... of the REAL STRUGGLE''

Those words were true then as much as they are now, maybe more true now as our struggle for Freedom is now once again in full swing across the Sikh Panth from Panjab to Europe the Sikhs are waking up to the hidden reality of what happened 26 years ago.So on this dark week of remembrance and reflection lets all commit ourselves to exposing the truth, educating our Nation and uniting under ONE KESRI NISHAN SAHIB as our great Leader and Sher of the Sikh Qoum Mahan Shaheed Sant Baba Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Ji asked us to and remain in Chardi Kalla

Bole So Nihaaal Sat Sri Akaaaaal!

Dal Khalsa Demands Memorial For 1984 Shaheeds

Dal Khalsa posers to SGPC on 84 memorial issue
Reaffirms its plans to hold 72 hours sit-in from June 3 to 6
Condemns police crackdown on SAD (Panch Pardani)

Amritsar, June 1

In a bid to corner the SGPC for failing to build a memorial in memory of Sikh martyrs of June 1984 Darbar Sahib attack, the Sikh organization Dal Khalsa has launched a “poster war”.

To press upon the SGPC and SAD leadership vis-à-vis the memorial of June 1984 martyrs, the organization reiterated its plans to hold 72 hours sit-in protest at outside the main entrance gate of Darbar Sahib Complex from June 3 to 6 this year.

The organization today again submitted a written request to SGPC to build memorial and presented a detailed report of its sit-in. The letter assured that sit-in protest would be peaceful. They said there would be no sloganeering nor speeches during the 72 hours protest. It also assured that maryada and convenience of devotees would be fully respected. They would stage a sit-in outside the main entrance gate of the SGPC offices, he added.

Addressing the press conference party head H S Dhami said remembering the ‘martyrs’ was an example of a conscious Nation. A 72 hours sit-in is aimed to pay tribute to the ‘martyrs of faith’, he added.

Releasing a posters at a press conference, the Dal Khalsa leaders posed certain questions to the SGPC and the ruling SAD regarding their indifferent approach towards the status of martyrs.

In its first question, the Dal Khalsa has asked the SGPC president to answer as to why the resolution adopted in the executive committee of the SGPC on Feb 20, 2002 has not yet been implemented. The second question asks when the SGPC would honour its own decision to build memorial and do justice to martyrs.

Why SGPC is dithering from constructing the memorial which would have depicted unparalleled repression let loose by the Congress? Is not the SGPC hobnobbing with Congress?

Third question relates to insensitivity of the SGPC and SAD towards issues related to martyrs of June 1984. It has also posed a question to Jathedar Avtar Singh Makkar to reveal under whose pressure he has brushed the crying demand of the community under the carpet? Do you think that the desire to build memorial is confined only to hardliners? Has not the martyrs sacrificed their lives for the collective pride and honour of the community and faith? Is this not the issue that relates to the collective conscience of the Sikh Panth?
Kanwarpal Singh spokesman of the party said the posters were being dispatched to various units for distribution in different areas to create awareness among the masses. He appealed to Damdami Taksal, Akand Kirtani Jatha and Sikh Students Federation leadership to participate in the sit-in as majority of the Sikhs were from these 3 groups who embraced martyrdom during the attack.

Bhai Mohkam Singh chairman of Khalsa Action Committee was also present on the occasion.

The leaders condemned the crackdown on SAD (Panch Pardani). They said the ban on Genocide Remembrance March was illegal and against the spirit of the democracy. By let loosing the reign of terror on Panch Pardani activists, the Akali government has reminded the repression days of Congress during 80’s. Akalis have followed the Congress path. It’s clear violation of fundamental rights of the Sikhs.

Dr Manjinder Singh, Sarbjit Singh Ghuman, Baldev Singh Ajnala were also present during press conference.
