is not a Sikh festival if a Sikh Family wishes to celebrate the birth
of a boy or girl,they should do an Akhand Paath or something like that
in Gurdwara the entire family should go and do seva with friends.If they
are not that religious they can do a private family function/party in
their house without lighting fires pakhand etc
