Dal Khalsa Amritsar Shutdown 6th June 2015 31st Anniversary Sikh Genocide 1984

 Dal Khalsa alongside it's youth wing Sikh Youth of Panjab & other Panthic organisations with the support of the Sangat called for the total shutdown of the city of Sri Amritsar Sahib in remembrance of the 1984 Sikh Genocide on June 6th 2015.The call was heeded by all in the city even though Police,Paramilitary,Intelligence & Hindutva forces had flooded the city a day before in order to intimidate Sikhs during the Dal Khalsa Khalistan Rally & in the aftermath of the killing of Shaheed Bhai Jagjit Singh Ji in Jammu by the Hindutva Police.The leadership of Dal Khalsa has been detained & the headquarters are surronded by Police & Paramilitary forces as of now.All emergency services have been allowed to operate as normal.
