Dal Khalsa Fully Support 'Once We Were Kings' Immortal Productions

Dal Khalsa fully supports the new album by the Immortal Productions team and their associate artists/producers.The album entitled 'Once We Were Kings' takes the listener on a journey back to the times of Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Ji Bahadur & that of the early Sikhs such as Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa & others.

At a time when the Khalsa Panth with the power of the Sikh Nation established Khalsa Raaj in our homeland Panjab - Khalistan. The Sikhs were true Sardars - Rulers & Kings of the 5 rivers the homeland of our Gurus and forefathers.Thats not to say that a Singh is not a King today but we have lost our Sardari along the way morally as well as Politically in the sense that we are an enslaved nation with a foreign power namely being India Hindu-stan ruling over the land of the Sovreign Sikh Nation.Iconic figures such as Maharaja Ranjit Singh & Nawab Kapoor Singh Ji lived and died like Kings fighting off oppression and threats to the Panjab and the Panth. That is in stark contrast to today where even after a genocide of horrific proportions we continue to be divided and at the feet of our enemy being kicked on a daily basis - this was not the Sardars & Kings Kalghidhar Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji made us.

We have to realise that it is due to the sacrifices and dedication of the real Sardars OUR forefathers that we are here today. It is due to them that Sikhism and Panjab survived wave after wave of attacks from enemies externally as well as internally, they gave their today for our tomorrow so that we could be proud to be Singhs & Kaurs and not be shy to declare our Sardari, most Sikhs nowadays Shy away from using Singh & Kaur in their names and forget the Shaheedian and Kurbania that we given so that we could have these royal titles of Kings & Queens.

As always the IP Shaheedi Seris does a lot of work to educate our youth as well as Sikh parents who have also lost their way.We fully support the project as we do every year and ask all Sikhs to do the same and to legally download the album or buy it wherever they can.All the artists have worked hard to give something back to the community and we should appreciate all the efforts that go in to creating a CD which not only educates but inspires Sikhs of all ages across the globe to save their Nation and to fight for Freedom and Righteousness.

Our core need is to educate the Panth on what figures like Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur stood for. They stood for Khalsa Raaj and a Sovereign Sikh Nation ,they laid the foundations of a Sovreign Sikh Homeland in Panjab - which today we call Khalistan.Through their inspiration and the Shaheedian of the last 30 years we will keep up the fight as a nation for the freedom of Panjab Khalistan from Indian Genocidal rule and oppresion.Only when we are free will be truly able to reclaim our Sardari after destroying the shackles of slavery which have been put around us.

Once We Were Kings

Once We Were Kings - Press Release

'Once We Were Kings' is the latest addition to the 'Shaheedi' series of CDs brought to you annually by Immortal Productions. Through traditional Panjabi Dhad, Sarangi and Kaveeshar, fused with contemporary music, we attempt to pay homage to our forgotten forefathers whose sacrifices and noble way of life surpasses even those of modern day revolutionaries.

This latest offering from Immortal Productions takes the listener on a historic and inspiring journey exploring past glories of the Sikhs as kings who once roamed bravely and freely with heads held high and the gift of crowns intact. Music on the CD is inspired by legends and harrowing stories from Sikh history full of valour, courage, fearlessness and steadfastness in upholding the principles of the Eternal teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji; tales, in which mighty generals like Baba Deep Singh Ji and Hari Singh Nalwa roared like lions, raising the Kesri Nishaan Sahib high and prefering to die on their feet rather than live on their knees.

It will be possible to obtain a copy of 'Once We Were Kings' from one of the BOSS (British Organisation of Sikh Students) Stalls during Vaisakhi nagar kirtans across the UK. The CD will also be available for purchase online from the Immortal Productions and BOSS Stall websites.

Contributions made by artists on all Immortal Production albums are done solely on a Seva (selfless service) basis. These projects are purely non-profit in which no money is made by any of the project contributors. All proceeds go back into Seva and to maintain the future longevity of the series. We urge you to offer your support by purchasing only legitimate and legal copies of the album.
