Bhagat Ravidas His Life & Teachings! Do we Follow His Gur-Bani?

we are engulfed in modern ego’s systems and Politicians propaganda systems and trying to misrepresent what Ravidas preached. Am not satisfied with many modern systems. If it was not preserved in Sri Guru Granth Sahib text I bet it would have been lost changed or manipulated many times by now. Call him Guru or Bhagat or Saint or whatever honorable word, but does he care? What he preached? his teaching are the value.

Have you ever paid attention, He had no ego and never called or represented him self as master or Guru even for his spiritual teachings. He him self followed a ego less honest true path of devotion and bhagti.

Bhagat Ravidas who is considered The Bhagat and or Satguru by many and his teaching are followed by a number of others and Sikhs.Ravidas, a Harijan by birth, taught equality spirituality based on setting free from the oppression of the hindu caste system then. He was born in an oppressed community, who were considered “untouchable” by upper class hindu’s. Hindus brahmins would take a shower even if they see or touch a Chamar by mistake. If a Chamar enters in there home they will purify the home by water and mantra. Food or bowls if touched by a Chamar was trashed. They were treated even worse in deeper history as to deafen them if they hear any educational lesson reserved for high caste hindus.

Ravidas was denied any acceptance by high caste hindu Indian majority. Ravidas attracted the lowest class of society according to the caste system.

As result of Bhagat Ravidass Ji being a low caste (Chamar) he faced unbearable casteism and unfair prejudice and therefore he was not permitted to follow any faith or worship God as it was normal practice in hinduism for long time and still exists to discriminate lower castes, however his powers & divinity with God couldn’t stop him from doing anything. He proved to all discriminates, that NOTHING could stop a man from acquiring the devotion & presence of God within himself.

Ravidas philosophy or Bhagti path was inline as promoted by other Sikh Saints & Guru’sthat Deny brahmin system & philosophy. Ravidas was Met, Accepted, Honored and Given the most honor Only by Sikh guru’s in Sikh Faith Admitting & by preserving his spiritual teaching is in Sri Guru Granth Sahib, That still today are read and listened by millions worldwide daily. Some People argue Guru or Bhagat, I would say It makes not much difference. If you are Spiritual and listening to Sri Guru Granth Sahib then he is in there I bow down and salute to him, to Guru Granth Sahib. If you are reading researching or writing the history or studying hierarchy in Sikhism then Guru word for Ravidas might conflict. Other then that its all propaganda and uneducated ego’s . Like I said Above ” Have you ever paid attention, He had no ego and never called or represented him self as master or Guru even for his spiritual teachings. He him self followd a ego less honest ture path of devotion and bhagti. ” Ravidass was not Hindu and like Guru Nanak he denied hindu system, caste system, idol worshiping etc. and not have any religion but GOD, yes ONE GOD. yes IK ONKAR. So he had no demand or objection getting his philophesy into Sri Guru Granth Sahib. But some people or followers have more ego & demands to set him seprate then ravidas him self (he had none) Please read Ravidas shabad bani understand the meaning then tell what’s argue on or if there should be any argueat all?

Now Gurudwara or Temple is almost Same as paragraph above. Even though Amritsar is also called Golden Temple or Har-Mandir but word just “temple” brings to mind like a temple of one of 16000 idol gods in hinduism with many idols there to worship, Which is Strictly against Ravidas Teaching & philosophy and Sikhism. So if there is Guru Granth Sahib its more appropriate to call it Gurudwara but temple may be Ok too as long as you follow the teaching and discipline described in HOLY text Sri Gru Granth Sahib, Let there be ONE GOD yes ONE GOD. yes Baba Nanak’s IK ONKAR, Let there be no Kam, Krodh, Lobh, Moh, ahankar. Be it Gurudwara or temple if there are any idols or things against or does not follow the Guru then you are missing some thing and not following Ravidas teachings or Sri Guru Granth.

Guru (Guru Granth Sahib is that include all the saints Bhagats and gurus teachings and is Guru ) yes ONE GOD ie ONE GURU yours and mine same. What would you call it! It is true that Guru Ravidass was a Chamar and what he done for low caste people is unforgettable. Poor people faced unimaginable levels of oppression in those days and unfortunately so called ‘low caste’ people still feel it today. But current political parties try to manipulate peoples minds and histories to any extant, for hisorical facts to daily routines.

Hinduization of Sikh Faith

RSS is a Hindu terrorist group. Its believes that humanity has only one faith and one culture that is Hinduism. It has a very simple slogan Hindi, Hindu Hindustan.

Hindi,

Hindu,

Hindustan

The RSS was founded in 1925 by Dr.K.B. Hedgewar. The RSS is active throughout India and as well as abroad. It became a mass organisation under the leadership of M.S Golwalker m.s Golwalker is seen as the spiritual master of this organisation and is refered to as Guru ,he is worshipperd and seen as a demi god.Golwalker was a sympathiser of Hitler and said that Hindus can learn a lesson from Hitller and his pure race ideology. In support of this golwalker said violence should be used a a surgeons knife to kill society,he goes on to say that the ones who do not accepet Hindutva as the main religion and culture of India, are merely a disease which need treatment. To kill them is merely like using medicinde to cure a disease. Now we are talking about a person, who thinks that humans with different beliefs should be wiped out,he takes this directly from Hitler. He goes on to state the main idea of the RSS,that only hindus ashould reside within India. When scholors have gon eon to research golwalkers work ,they have said he is not preaching Hinduism, but it is Hindutva.this campain is not about attacking the Hindu community, its aim is to cerate awareness and to stop the RSS .

The RSS has many wings, the 1st is Vidya bharti, the main military wings are shiv sena, bajrang dal,and other splinter groups. They also have links within the political parties of India of all sorts ,the main being the BJP,the BJP is so heavily influenced by the RSS that it is refered to as the political wing of the RSS.

The RSS also influences policies of every single political party in India, may it be congress, bjp and so on.The main preaching point which the RSS have put through that there is only one true ideology in this world, and that is Hindutva and that humanity only has one religion and one culture and that is Hinduism. To forward and to achieve this aim,we must assimilate the society in to Hindutva .

It sees Christianity as merely a branch of Hinduism,it refers to Christians as a part of the Hindu faith, through the alteration of historical books, which are taught in state schools across India as a compulsory curriculum ,its says that jesus was an incarnation of Hindu gods.He was merely there to give direction to society and the west and their anti Hindu elements have taken over jesus and have used him to propagate against Hinduism and that 90% of so called Christianity all over the world is merely a manipulation to be a Christian in India is to be a Hindu.

They further go on to say similar things about Islam, that all Muslims are Hindus which believe in prophet mohammed. It describes Muslims as mohammediya hindus. It is preached in the state schools of India, through the divya bharti on a compulsive basis.

Buddhism is also opposed in a similar manner, as Buddhists see themselves as a separate religion, the rss and its sister groups claim that real Buddhism is Hinduism.

The RSS sees Sikhism as the biggest threat to its ideology and hindutva . Guru Nanak condemned the caste system and the unfair treatment of lower castes, and discrimination to women,he was born into a family which is regarded as a slave caste, within the RSS ideology. It is like a revolution from within to them and they have tried their utmost to destroy and to finish Sikhism off by all means necessary socially ,politically and economically .They claim all Sikh Gurus were Hindus, they have tried to alter all Sikh scriptures to match their views of Hindutva. The British Govt recognises the Sikh faith as a distinct religion ad a separate race,in opposition to this the RSS continue to maintain Sikhs are Hindus. The human rights abuses it has committed in the last 60 years are nothing short of a holocaust within India, and the world has just overlooked it. The main reason for this is because of the sheer amount of propaganda the rss has put through, when it comes to propaganda this group is probably the well most linked group in India, and indeed the world.

I will now describe to you how they have carried out riots in the last 60 years in so called Independent India. The events of every single massacre have formed a very similar pattern. From Sikhs in Delhi 1984 to Muslims in Gujarat 2002 massacre. This is how it takes place.

· Events are created or used to carry out the ethnic cleaning of minorities.

· Media black-out was setup all around India

· Mobs was organised and arms and weapons were issue to them. Including small fire arms, hand guns and small machine guns, swords, metal rods, petrol etc.

· Transport was arranged for the mobs and they were driven to their destinations.

· Sikh Shops were attacked, looted and burnt.

· Men were killed

· Women were gang raped and some died as result of the shock.

· Some were shot dead

· Others were stabbed with knife and swords to death

· Others were beaten to death

· As the mobs found Sikhs they beat them into submission, tyres were put around the necks of Sikhs (Muslims In Gujarat )and then they were set alight.

· Attack were also organised at hospitals to kill all the new born Sikh infants. They hacked into peaces or drown to death.

· Others were hacked to death

.Then bodies are gathered in governmental vehicles and are cremated together to get red of any traces or evidence of ethnic cleaning.

.Then media was let back in and it is described to media as riots between Sikhs and Hindus.

All this is overlooked by politicians which have been bought by the RSS,as well as local law enforcement agencies. The RSS through propaganda and spreading of rumours likes to create communal tensions between different communities, Once the tensions rises they use this to forward their own agenda. The RSS should not be funded from the UK,it is gathering funds from all areas of the UK,through its sister groups, and others, which all go in to the forwarding of the Pure race ideology within India, and across the world.

The RSS has recently increased its activities within the UK against Sikhs and other groups, such as Muslims. By creating tension between Sikhs and Muslims for no apparent reason. They have also tried to divide these two communities from within by causing internal conflict within theses two communities. As citizens of the UK. We all have the right to live peacefully and worship in whatever way we choose fit. We cannot have a group like the RSS which takes its direct inspiration from Nazi Germany and Hitler being funded from the UK,which opposed Hitler along with the Allies in WorldWar2.The UK prides itself on Human rights and equality it’s the responsibility of us all here today to make sure we try our best to get this group banned as a proscribed group under the Home office, and to get its funding stopped.

Reasons for Banning The RSS

(Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh), In The UK.

In light of the increased activities of the RSS in the United Kingdom in gathering funds, Political backing and spreading of their hate ideology. The World Muslim Sikh Federation have created a Petition to urge Prime Minister Gordon Brown to ban the group, freeze it assets and its funding.

What Is The RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh)

*The RSS is an Extremist Hindu Organisation, which believes that only Hindus should reside within India.

*They wish to create a Hindu Super State of Hinduvta Hindu.Hindi,Hindustan, there is no place for minorities.

*The RSS had a major hand in the Muslim Genocide in Gujarat, one of the main RSS leaders Narendra Modi was banned from entering the USA.

*The RSS have actively been trying to distort Sikh History, through modifying Sikh History and Books, they claim all who reside in India are part of the Hindu ‘Family’.

*The RSS take their inspiration from Hitler and his Nazi Pure Race Ideology.

*The RSS also had a hand in the Sikh Genocide of 1984,and actively supported the killing, rape, looting, and attacking of Sikhs within India.

*In order to tackle the RSS from one of its roots, their funding has to be banned, and assets frozen within the United Kingdom.

Hinduization of Sikh Faith

Brahminism has always feared the Sikh faith. The Sikh Gurus proclaimed the equality of all humanity and rejected practices like caste, holy threads and worship of the cow. The exploitation of simple people by the Brahmin was eliminated. Although Hindu fundamentalists have taken a keen interest in destroying Sikhism for centuries, this latest cycle of Hindu attacks on Sikhism can be traced to 1993. The Sikh Liberation Movement had been brutally crushed in Punjab and was on its final breaths. Sikh villagers were afraid of being identified as being practicing Sikhs and roves of young Sikh men were cutting their hair so that they would not be harassed or killed by the police.

It was at this point that a new “Sikh” organization, the Rashtri Sikh Sangat (RSS) began to enter Sikh villages. This organization began to distribute literature about the Sikh faith and hold meetings. Many villagers thought that it was an attempt to revive Sikh pride, but in fact, the literature was written to show Sikhs to be a part of Hinduism.

The Rashtriya Sikh Sangat group, which is a branch of the main Rashrtiya Swayamsevak Sangh and also known as RSS was formed in Punjab in 1986 claiming to promote Sikh-Hindu relations. It’s main aim however is to attack and swallow the Sikh religion, and how is it trying to do this ? Over the last two years, the RSS has intensified its attention on Sikh affairs in Punjab. At every given opportunity, it has tried to build inroads into Sikh institutions and attacked the basic Sikh philosophy and way of life. By any means possible it is trying to undermine the history, the beliefs and institutions of the faith.

The attempt to subjugate the Sikh identity by the dominant and elite Hindu stream is nothing new. In the earlier part of the nineteenth century, Swami Dayanand Saraswati of Arya Samaj came down heavily against Sikh Gurus, Sikh scriptures and the Punjabi language, in response to which Bhai Kahan Singh wrote the famous book, 'Hum Hindu Nahin' – We are not Hindus. The current threat to the Sikh identity assumed serious proportions when the RSS chief, K. Sudarshan, while participating in the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat Convention in Amritsar (April 2000) said that Sikhism is a sect of Hinduism while the Khalsa is a part of mainstream Hinduism which was created to protect Hinduism from Mughal tyranny. From that time on, many Sikh organizations undertook protest marches against Sudarshan and pointed out that Sikhism is a religion in its own right and that they will not tolerate the RSS efforts to undermine their separate Sikh identity.

The express goals of the RSS are

1) To strengthen the bonds between Sikhs and Hindus to promote National unity, awareness and patriotism.
2) To make Guru Nanak’s “Hindustan Smaalsee Bola” a reality and maintain national patriotism and unity.
3) To promote Sri Guru Bani fro Sri Guru Granth Sahib
4) To perform seva with “Sarbat Da Bhala” in mind.

The Rashtriya Sikh Sangat has 500 branches across India and publishes the magazine “Sangat Sandesh”.

Other goals of this organization are the creation of a Mandar at Ayodhya’s “Ram Janam Bhoomi” and also a Gurdwara to commemorate visits by Guru Nanak, Guru Tegh Bahadur and Guru Gobind Singh.

Every month, the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat has a function in which occasionally Sri Guru Granth Sahib is parkash and sometimes not. Usually the function takes place with paintings of Guru Nanak, Guru Tegh Bahadur and Guru Gobind Singh at the front. These paintings are accompanied by paintings of Ram and Krishna. The paintings are garlanded with flowers.

The meeting begins with 5 readings of the Mool Mantar and then 20 minutes of keertan. After this, Sukhmani Sahib or Ram Avtar or Krishan Avtar are read. This is followed by a singing of “Vanday Matram”.

The meeting concludes with a 20 minute lecture on the history the original RSS founder Golvarkar and discussion of the role of Sanskrit in Sri Guru Granth Sahib or some other similar topic.
Some Quotes…

* “The Sikh Gurus showed faith in the Hindu faith and visited Hindu pilgrimage sites to show this” (Rashtra Dharam, p. 31)

* “When Guru Arjan was doing the Kar Seva of Harimandeir, Vishnu reflected and said, “Lakshmi, the Guru is my own form. There is no difference between us. He is making my temple. Let us go and see the building of our new temple…” (Rashtra Dharam, 90)

* “The difference between Hindus and Sikhs was the creation of the English mind.” (Rashtra Dharam, 98)

* “If today someone were to make a portrait of Guru Nanak without a beard and turban, his life would be in danger but in fact, the practice of keeping long hair and beards began only in the 20th Century. (Madhu Kishvara, Hindustan Times Aug 21, 1999)

* “Guru Arjan Dev and Guru Tegh Bahadur used to pay obeisance to the feet of the Devi” (Surindar Kumar, Jag Bani)

* “Guru Gobind Singh with the blessings of the Avtars (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva) created the Khalsa Panth.” (Sangat Sandesh, Sept 1998)

* “Maharana Partap, the Rani of Jhansi and Guru Gobind Singh were all great patriots” (Rashtra Dharam)

* “The Sangh [RSS] is the Khalsa” (Ravani, Dec 1997)

Guru Mati Das Sharma”???

Bhai Mati Das jee is a famous Shahid of the Sikhs who happily faced death by being sawn alive but did not forsake his faith. Bhatt Vehis record the history of this Shahid and it is known that Bhai Mati Das’s grandfather, Bhai Paraga jee was a Sikh of Guru Hargobind and also became a Shaheed in the battle of Ruhila.

Bhai Mati Das jee was of course then born into a Sikh family. The family had been Sikh since the time of Guru Ram Das. Bhai Sati Das was Bhai Sahib’s brother. Bhai Mati Das accompanied Guru Tegh Bahadur in his travels to Assam, Bengal and Bihar. When Guru Sahib was arrested and brought to Delhi, Bhai Mati Das was also brought with him. When offered the choice to forsake the Sikh faith and become a Muslim or to face death, Bhai Mati Das happily accepted the latter and only asked that he die while facing the Guru. Even when Bhai Sahib’s body had been cut in two, Japji Sahib could be heard from both halves.

Bhai Sati Das was also offered the choice to forsake Sikhi or death, and accepted death. He was wrapped in cotton and burnt alive.Hindu fundamentalist organizations, in an effort to demean Guru Tegh Bahadur’s Shaheedee, have appropriated Bhai Mati Das and Bhai Sati Das as Hindu heros. Yearly events are held to commemorate their martyrdoms but they are presented as Hindus who died for their faith.

Bhai Hakeekat Singh jee was a young Sikh who is recorded in Bhatt Vehis as “Hakeekat Singh” but later was appropriated by Hindus as their own. Just like Bhai Hakeekat Singh is now referred to as Hakeekat Rai even by Sikhs, these groups hope Sikhs will also give up these two Sikh Shaheeds.

Sikhs and Raam

Another fallacy being promoted by the RSS is that the Sikh Gurus were from the family of Raam. That throughout history, Vishnu has supported the Sikhs. No Hindu text gives the family tree of Raam, and so there is no foundation for this claim. Giani Puran Singh gave this lie credence by repeating it publicly when he was Jathedar of the Akal Takhat. The only support this lie has is in a work by Kesar Singh Chhiber that has been corrupted. It claims the link between Raam and the Gurus but it also claims that Guru Gobind Singh worshipped Durga and took permission to keep his kesh from her. It also claims that the Sikh Gurus accepted Sanatan Hindu rites.

Baba Banda Singh Bahadur or Veer Banda Bairagi?

One of the RSS’s early targets has been Baba Banda Singh Bahadur. Baba Banda Singh is a Sikh hero who first created a Sikh Rule in Punjab and struck a Sikh coin. Baba Banda Singh is also a great Sikh martyr who sacrificed his life but did not compromise his faith.

The RSS has attempted to turn this great Sikh hero, into a Hindu Patriot. In the book “Veer Banda Bairagi” by Bhai Parmanand, Guru Gobind Singh was a defeated man who went to Nander in sadness. There he met the Hindu, Banda Bairagi who agreed to help Guru Sahib take revenge for the death of his sons. Banda Baigragi had with him Rajput warriors and a he gathered a Hindu army to punish the evil Wazir Khan.

The new Hindu history claims that Banda Bairagi never became a Sikh and was an example of a pious Hindu helping his Sikh friend.
This story is of course utterly false. There was never any character named “Banda Bairagi”. Baba Banda Singh was known as Madho Das. He became a Sikh of Guru Gobind Singh by receiving Khanday Kee Pahul. This fact is confirmed by the oldest sources including Tavarikh-Iradat Khan (1714) and Panj Sau Sakhi (1734). The Bhatt Vehis mention how Guru Gobind Singh himself gave Baba Banda Singh the five kakaars and tied a keski on his head.

Baba Banda Singh’s own hukumnamas all make clear that he was a Sikh of the Guru and call upon “The Almighty for assistance."

The question arises, if “Banda Bairagi” had an army of Hindu warriors, why wouldn’t he have taken revenge for the Mughal excesses at Kanshi and Mathura? Why are none of the famous Hindus in his army recorded in history? Why were the Faujdars of conquered areas always Sikhs? Why do even his own family accounts (Bansavalinama) refer to him and his sons with the name “Singh”?

It is a blatant lie by the RSS to appropriate a Sikh hero and make him into a Hindu.

A 25-Point of Attack

The RSS has 25 points with which it hopes to attack the Sikh faith and lead to its eventual assimilation. All 25 points are very easily refuted but lack of education and knowledge coupled with the RSS’s organized attack make this a serious danger.

These points are already being incorporated into school text books and taught as real history. This skewed history is already taught in many areas.

1) Sikhs are an inseparable part of Hindu society.

2) If Hinduism is a tree, Sikhism is a fruit on that tree.

3) Gurbani is like the Ganga, it emerges from the Gangotri of the Vedas

4) The Khalsa was crated to protect Hinduism and Hindustan

5) Japji Sahib is a summary of the Gita

6) The Failure of the 1857 “War of Independence” [in reality an unorganized uprising by Poorbiya soldiers who 8 years earlier helped the British conquer Punjab] was defeated only by the Sikhs

7) Banda Singh Bahadur was really Veer Banda Bairagi

8) The Sikh Gurus worshipped the cow

9) Condemning Sikh scholars Bhai Kanh Singh Nabha and Bhai Veer Singh

10) Use examples from Trumpp and other anti-Sikh western scholars

11) The Sikh Gurus used Vedic ceremonies

12) Guru Gobind Singh worshipped the Goddess Durga

13) Guru Sahib was from the family or Ram and his devotee

14) Sikhs are from Lav-Kush

15) Baba Ram Singh was the legitimate Guru of the Sikhs

16) Create posters which challenge Sikh principles but appear to be pro-Sikh

17) Insist on using the Bikrami calendar and share Hindu festivals

18) Call Bhai Hakeekat Singh, Hakeekat Rai and illustrate him as a clean shaven Hindu

19) Claim [with no historical basis] that Guru Gobind Singh sent his army to liberate Ram Janam Bhumi in Ayodhya from the Mughals

20) To create the Khalsa, Guru Gobind Singh seeked blessing from the gods and goddesses and used Hindu mantras. The Kakaars were also blessings from the gods.

21) Equate ek-oan-kaar with “OM”

22) Call Bhai Mati Das “Guru Mati Das Sharma”

23) To do parkash of Sree Guru Granth Sahib in Mandirs and put pictures of Hindu Gods in Sikh Gurdwaras

24) Project Guru Gobind Singh as having taken a different ideology from Guru Nanak and to make him into a Patriotic Hero of India.

25) Make all of Sikh history take a Hindu tint.

Hindutva Hand May Well Be Behind Mumbai Attacks

Dal Khalsa Press Early Release

'Don't Rule Out Hindutva Hand In Mumbai Terror'

While speculation mounts on the involvement of Islamist Jidhadist groups in Mumbai's carnage ,Dal Khalsa UK would like to point out that the Fanatical Hand of Hindutva could be behind the terrorist attacks in Mumbai and its Hotels. The hand of Hindutva groups and radical Hindu outfits like the Bajrang Dal,RSS, alongside ShivSena could well be behind the latest string of attacks, mostly aimed at the general public and tourists.
For the last 6 months the Indian Nation has been in World News Headlines regarding the on going genocide and ethnic cleansing of Christians in the North Eastern State of Orrisa, the Pope,EU and other World leaders have expressed their outrage to the Indian Govt about the brutal killings, rapes and destruction of Christian Chruches in Orissa by Fanatical Hindu Terror groups.

The word 'Hindu Terrorism' has also popped up in the Media in the last few weeks and leading newspapers like The Times UK and others are activley monitorinig Hindutva outfits like the RSS and Bajrang Dal and their activities in Orissa against Christians all this and pressure from activist groups in the UK have led to the RSS and Hindutva Terrorism in Orrisa to be discussed in the UK House Of Lords.Lord Patten(Conservative),with a whole host of Bishops have called on the UK Govt. to protest the killings and genocide and have also discussed a ban on these groups.

The Hindutva terrorism in Orrisa has given India a bad name in the international community,in order to take away the attention from Orissa Hindutva groups may well have engineered these attacks to take the attention away from 'Hindu Terrorism'which was reaching world headlines and back to Islamic Terrrorism. Its important to point out that in the last week at least 200 bodies have been recoverd dumped on a jungle in the state of Orrisa that just shows the magnitude of the killings in the North Eastern State.

Not only this the attacks could also have been carried out to have an influence on the outcome of India's next elections,as the Congress led Govt. is weak and is heavily opposed by most major Hindutva groups .In order to get into power once more through the BJP and to grab the votes of Hindu Nationalists these attacks may well have been enginered at just the right time. The reason for this is that 2 Leading officials who were leading the Investigation into 'Hindu Terror Cells' in Mumbai have been killed,it is improtant at this time to recall the arrest of the Hindu Sadhvi Pragya Thakur she was arrested for the Malegoan blasts and had alledged involvement in making bombs and bomb factories. The ATF Chief leading the investigation Hemant Karkare was killed a few days ago in the Mumbai Terror attacks along with another ATF senior member,Hindu radicals have celebrated his death as a blessing from God and have expressed their gratitude that he is now dead. This is evident from comments left on Indian News Blogs:

'Pragya’s heartfelt cry and prayer to Hindu Goddess Durga, that might have resulted in the killing of not only Hemant Karkare but also other members of ATS and the Marthi Police manoos.'

'Death of Hemant Karkare 1 ATS head Hemant Karkare’s demise was welcomed by Hindus as he was trying to create artificial Hindu terrorists'

' ATS head Hemant Karkare’s death is due to his illegal and immoral way of detaining a Hindu Sadhvi Pragya.'

http://www.expressbuzz.com/edition/story.a...ERROR%20ATTACKS

This leads us to ask the question as to why the head of a Govt agency who deals not with criminals but with terrorists was killed?IWhere was his security?Body armour?ts easy to say he was shot dead and so on,but would we see Metropolitan Chief Sir Paul Stephenson, on the front line in an attack like this in the UK?

There is the possibility the head of the ATF was killed of due to his exposure of Hindu Terrorism and the arrest of the Sadhvi,Hindutva groups were growing very hostile towards the ATF and their uncovering and use of the word Hindu Terrorism. The BJP/RSS has and continue to activley support the Sadhvi and all the suspects arressted in the Malegaon Blast cases, and they are highly critical of the ATF and its management.

With the attacks being blamed on Islamic Jihadists and Pakistan this may well be used as a reason to crack down on Muslims living within India, and one cannot rule out the chance of another 'Gujarat 2002'(Genocide) through the Right Wing propaganda of the RSS Hindutva terrorists. In 2002 as well Islamic Fanatics were blamed for the train bombing of Hindus ,but earlier this year it came to light that these attacks were themselves enginered by the Bajrang Dal and RSS ,this attack was used as a reason to attack Muslims and cause communal tensions all this was exposed by the Tehelka Network in an undercover sting opertion using hidden cameras and interviews of Hindutva leaders.

The Chinese Official Daily also says that Hindutva may have a hand in this horrific incident

http://www.indianexpress.com/news/china-of...6;./391937/

Dal Khalsa UK and the Sikh Community as a whole would like to at this time send its condolences to the families of the victims of this sickening attack on unarmed civilians and tourists who were going about their daily lives only for them to be tragicly ended by the terror of cowards and inhumane terrorists

We hope peace prevails and that the spirit of Humanity shines through these dark days.

Hindutva Terror

Hindutva and its cult of the bomb Praveen Swami Events since the unravelling of the Malegaon terror cell illustrate the double-standards, deceit and denial that characterise India’s public discourse on terrorism. The Indian Mujahideen (IM) warned the citizens of Mumbai through e-mail in September that for all the deadly attacks they faced in future, the city’s Anti-Terrorism squad alone would be responsible. In the e-mail, the Islamist terror group charged the ATS with perpetrating atrocities on Muslims in Mumbai. Politicians of the Islamic right-wing — and not a few well-meaning liberals — joined the chorus, charging the police with running a communal witch-hunt.

The ATS is again facing a barrage of invectives — this time led by Hindutva groups which were cheering it on the successful counter-terrorist campaign against the IM. Last month, ATS investigators held Gujarat-based Hindutva activist Pragnya Singh Thakur and four other key members of a Hindutva terror cell for executing the September 29 bombing outside the Students Islamic Movement of India’s old office in Malegaon. Six Muslims died in the bombings, which the police believe were a reprisal for the IM attacks.

Events since then have offered not a little into the double standards, deceit and denial that characterise India’s public discourse on terrorism. Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh proclaimed that there was no evidence against Pragnya, echoing almost verbatim the assertions by Islamist leaders after the arrests of IM suspects. The party spokesperson, Ravi Shankar Prasad, railed against what he described as “Hindu-bashing by pseudo-secularists” — a formulation near-identical to that of Muslim neoconservatives who claim that the police’s counter-terrorism campaign is a plot against Islam. Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray went one step further claiming that Hindus were being framed for acts of terror by Islamist conspirators — again, a carbon copy of assertions made earlier in the context of Islamist terror cells. And borrowing the tactics used by some jihadists’ families, Pragnya’s father appeared before the media to proclaim her innocence in an emotional speech.

ATS chief Hemant Karkare and his subordinates ought to be taking pride in a job well done. And Indians, whatever their political beliefs, ought to be very worried.

It is unclear just why anyone should seem surprised at the news that Hindutva groups can spawn terrorism: Mahatma Gandhi’s murderers and their motives are too well known to need recounting here.

Pragnya Thakur’s cell is the first Hindutva terror group known to have possessed and deployed significant bomb-making skills but elements of the movement she represented have long been known to be preparing for a war — at least since 2003. Underlying the turn to terror was a simple political objective: to persuade their audience that the Bajrang Dal and its sister organisations could, unlike the supposedly effete secular state, protect the frontiers of the Hindu faith from what was claimed to be an Islamic assault.

Terror capabilities From 2006, it became clear, Hindutva groups were seeking to acquire serious terror capabilities. That summer, Naresh Kondwar and Himanshu Phanse of the Bajrang Dal were killed in a bomb-making accident in the Maharashtra town of Nanded. Investigators found that Kondwar and Phanse were responsible for bombing a Parbhani mosque in April 2006, almost three months before the Mumbai serial bombings. Bajrang Dal operatives linked to the Nanded cell, the police discovered, were also responsible for the bombing of mosques at Purna and Jalna in April 2003, in which 18 people were injured.

Few people took these warning signs seriously. But from the outset, the Maharashtra police — who knew better than most that what eventually flowered into the Lashkar-e-Taiba in India began with a handful of untrained men staging parades in a Mumbai slum —made clear their concern about Hindutva terrorism. In a 2006 interview to the magazine Communalism Combat, the former ATS chief K.P. Raghuvanshi noted that the Nanded incident could have “frightening repercussions.” He acidly observed that the “bombs were not being manufactured for a puja.”

Just this June, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti operatives were held for the bombing of the Gadkari Rangayatan theatre in Thane, to protest the staging of a satire on the Mahabharata, Amhi Pachpute. One of those arrested by the ATS, Mangesh Nikam, was facing trial on charges of bombing the home of a Ratnagiri family that had converted to Christianity and was out on bail.

In October, Bajrang Dal-linked Rajiv Mishra and Bhupinder Singh were killed in a bomb-making accident in Kanpur. Uttar Pradesh police sources said there was little to show that the group had links with the terror cells in Maharashtra — a proposition buttressed by forensic reports which said the explosive device they were constructing was in essence a large firecracker.

Unless checked, though, these groups will eventually acquire more sophisticated capabilities. In September 2006, the police seized a 195-kg cocktail of military grade explosives from an Ahmednagar scrap dealer. Shankar Shelke, investigators later found, retrieved the material — more than enough to execute all terror strikes across India since 1993 — from a decommissioned Indian Army ordinance which had sold it as scrap. From Shelke’s telephone records, the investigators established the existence of a huge underground market for high-grade explosives — in the main industrial users who found legally available ammonium nitrate-based slurry explosives a nuisance to store and use.

Pragnya and her Hindutva terror cell have deep — and for some, discomfiting — roots in history. Abhinav Bharat — the organisation from which the terror cell emerged — was founded in mid-2006. Named after a group set up by the Hindutva ideologue Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in May 1904 to wage war against imperial Britain, Abhinav Bharat’s leading figures believed that terror was needed to counter Islamist terror — a belief they put into practice in Malegaon.

Hindutva terrorism was born at the dawn of the 20th century. Influenced by the dramatic impact of terrorism in imperial Russia, the Hindu nationalist leader, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, became increasingly drawn to violence as a tool to achieve Indian independence. A year after the searing 1905 revolution, which compelled Czar Alexander II to grant basic civil rights, Tilak wrote: “The days of prayer have gone.” “Look to the examples of Ireland, Japan and Russia,” he exhorted his followers, “and follow their methods.”

Tilak’s message proved attractive to many young, upper caste Hindu neoconservatives — often the products of western-style education who had found in their re-imagining of Indian tradition a language with which to oppose British imperialism.

Figures like Savarkar, who went on to lead the Hindu Mahasabha and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, cast the struggle against Britain as a fight to defend the Hindu faith. In one manifesto, the original Abhinav Bharat’s followers promised to “shed upon the earth the life-blood of the enemies who destroy religion.” Later, the radical right journal Yugantar argued that the murder of foreigners in India was “not a sin but a yagna [ritual sacrifice]” — language that would be entirely familiar to Osama bin-Laden’s jihadist armies today.

Edinburgh-educated Pandurang Bapat was among those who responded to Tilak’s call. In 1908, Bapat is believed to have been given a manual for bomb-making by a Russian chemical engineer. Bapat insisted that his bombs never killed anyone. He was, however, suspected of involvement in the Alipore bomb case — an attack on a British magistrate by Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chaki which missed its target, and killed two women. “Indian terrorism,” scholar Walter Lacquer has recorded, “was relatively infrequent and on the whole quite ineffective: more often than not, the Indian terrorists managed to kill some innocent bystander rather than their intended victims.”

After the 1909 assassination of William Wylie, Edwin Montague’s political secretary, Hindu right-wing terrorism went into a prolonged period of decline. Bapat shifted focus from seeking the overthrow of the British Raj to education. So did Savarkar’s close associate, Hindutva ideologue B.S. Moonje. In 1937, Moonje founded the Bhonsala Military School in Nashik — an institution to which, ironically enough, two men arrested by the ATS on charges of facilitating the Malegaon bombings were linked.

‘Hindu Fuhrer’ Historian Eugene D’Souza’s work on pre-Second World War German propaganda shows that the Hindu right-wing continued to worship violence despite its tactical turn from terror. In the build-up to the war, Nazi Germany’s covert services reached out to potential allies. “Many vernacular papers in Bombay and Maharashtra belonging to the Hindu Mahasabha,” D’Souza has recorded, “openly preached National Socialism for India and a Hindu Fuhrer in the mould of Hitler.” Interestingly, the Nazi message also appealed to proto-Islamists. Iranian expatriate Saif Azad’s Salar-e-Hind worked to promote fascism in India, casting Jews as criminals. “Strangely enough,” D’Souza has noted, “the otherwise irreconcilable reactionaries and fanatics among both Hindus and Muslims were attracted to the totalitarian doctrine, though their approach was from two opposite directions.” Once again, Islamist and Hindutva terrorists are locked in a fateful embrace.

In a 2003 article, Pakistani scholar-diplomat Husain Haqqani warned that “the rise of Hindu extremism serves as a catalyst for recruitment by extremist Islamists in South Asia.” Haqqani’s bleak statement is borne out by facts. Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, who heads the Lashkar-e-Taiba, was a child of the Partition of India: his hatred for Hindus and India, journalist Zahid Husain has recorded, stemmed from his witnessing the massacre of much of his family on the route from Shimla to Lahore. Not a few of those involved in the Islamist jihad that has claimed thousands of lives in India since 1990 were seduced by violence because of their experience of communal pogroms.

BJP leaders — who often claim to have a special concern for India’s strategic future — must unequivocally denounce the murderers in their ranks. Failing this, they will help to bring the apocalyptic Hindu-Muslim war that groups like the Lashkar hope to precipitate one step closer to realisation.

Dal Khalsa organizes Shabad-Guru Satkar March

Friday 24th of October 2008
Kanwarpal Singh, Dal Khalsa

Amritsar Sahib - Rededicating that none but the Granth is the perpetual Guru of the Sikh people, the Dal Khalsa on the occasion of tercentenary of coronation of Guru Granth Sahib made an earnest appeal to all sections of the Sikh society to sink their unwarranted differences, rise above partisan, shun egoism and be faithful to the concept of Sarbat da bhala (the welfare of all).

The organization undertook 'Shabad-Guru' satkar march commencing from historic gurdwara Guru Tag Bahadur, Baba Bakala to Damdama Sahib, Hargobindpur. In his address the party president Harchranjit Singh Dhami said this procession was being undertaken in honor of our eternal Guru to commemorate its 300th anniversary that falls tomorrow.

He said that Sikhs have been passing through a critical phase of history in the recent times. The challenges before the community are multi-dimensional and to face them the need of the hour was unity within the community. "To build a cordial environment for mutual understanding and trust the major role and responsibility rests on established parties and institutions be it political or religious". He made a proverbial call to empower (politically and socially) younger generation to save them from falling into the trap of social evils like apostasy and drug menace.

Addressing the spirited gathering, he said 300 years ago in 1708, before Guru Gobind Singh took for heavenly abode, he expounded a unique proposition, unparalleled in the spiritual history of world religions.

He said the Tenth Master proclaimed that henceforth, the Guru Granth Sahib, a compilation of the teachings of the Sikhs Gururs, will be the permanent guide and tutor for every seeker of truth. Every Sikh's life shall revolve around the basic postulates mentioned in the Guru Granth Sahib, he said.

Former president Satnam Singh pointed out that since those times, the tug of war between followers of Shabad Guru and that pretending to be spiritual guides continues.

While the Sikhs are presently engaged in a bitter struggle against the blasphemous acts of the Sauda dera and DJJS, they are emphatically opposed to all schismatic activities, said party general secretary Dr Manjinder Singh.

To ensure unflinching respect for Guru Granth Sahib, the party secretary Kanwarpal Singh reiterated that it was a religious and pious duty of every Sikh to defeat the designs of all such sects and cults, which were propagating the concept of "living gurus" contrary to the fundamentals of the Sikh faith.

The organization, in a form of resolution made an appeal to the (Sikh) followers of Namdhari and Radhaswami sects to discard the practice of worshiping a living "Guru" and rejoin the Sikh fold.

The resolution reads that the tercentenary celebrations was a fit occasion for reiterating faith in Guru Granth Sahib, as the practice of believing in living gurus ended with the Tenth Guru, who bestowed the guruship to Guru Granth Sahib.

To drive their point home, the speakers after speaker quoted hymns from Ardas (Daily prayer) " Agya Payi Akal Ki, Tabe Chalayo Panth, Sabh Sikhan Ko Hukam Hai, Guru Manyo Granth. (By order of the God Almighty, the Khalsa Panth was formed. It is a diktat to all Sikhs that henceforth the Guru is only the Granth Sahib.)

Dera Sirsa and Hindutava

The DSS is based in the town of Sirsa, in Haryana, India, which borders the Indian state of Punjab. The organization propogate facists hindu ideals under a image of a so called (sikh) leader gurmeet ram. Its a hub of propogation of hindutava and traning its terrorists.who in return play the part of followers of the dera who work in ashrams in its many business, which generates wast income. This funds Gurmeet ram and his playboy life style, even his mode of transportation, which is "a fleet of high range cars, protected by up to 100s of private armed bodyguards."nothing less then a head of state.

DSS printed an advertisement featuring Gurmeet ram. This advertisement, coupled with other activities of DSS, demonstrate a deliberate and extremely offensive attempt to copy Sikhi. Specifically, it attempts to copy the creation of "Khalsa," the orthodox manner of Sikhi instituted by the tenth and final Sikh Guru, Gobind Singh. It does this in several ways.

Gurmeet Ram appears dressed in the style of Guru Gobind and seated in "Bir Asaan," the style of seating used by Guru Gobind during the creation of Khalsa. This seating style is still used during Amrit Sanskar, the ceremony in which a Sikh is initiated into Khalsa.Gurmeet ram is portrayed distributing Jaam-e-Insaan, an attempted copy of the Amrit (or nectar) used in Amrit Sanskar. Amrit Sanskar is a vital ceremony in Sikhi. This is when a Sikh is publicly baptized into pure Sikhi and takes the surname "Singh" (or "lion") to denote equality with others in the community. This distribution of Jaam-e-Insaan is also a copy of Khande di Pahul, where nectar is prepared. According to Sikhi, since Guru Gobind only "Panj Pyaras" have the authority to prepare Amrit, which they must do in the presence of Guru Granth Sahib (the Sikh holy book)while following a prescribed method.

Third, Gurmeet Ramincludes a list of "Rules for Humanity" in his advertisement. This is an undeniable attempt to copy the "Rahatnamas" (or "Codes of Conduct") of Sikhi which were instituted by Guru Gobind. While Gurmeet Singh's list of rules are all very similar to those in Sikhi, what is most offensive is his attempt to copy Guru Gobind by issuing such a list.

Fourth, Gurmeet ram ordered his followers to adopt the name "Insaan" (or "human"), in a copy of Guru Gobind's admonition to adopt the name "Singh" (or "Kaur" for women) after Amrit Sanskar. Thus Gurmeet ram has attempted to copy the unique creation of Khalsa by creating Insaan.

DSS has also attempted to copy and offend Sikhs and even other religious groups in several other ways . Just as Guru Gobind taught the importance of "Panj" (or "five"), so Gurmeet Singh has copied this concept by using "Sat" (or "Seven"). Dr. Adyita Insaan, the spokesman of DSS, has equated Gurmeet Singh to Sikh Gurus Gobind Singh and Har Krishan, as well as to Ramachandra, a Hindu god. Additionally, DSS deceptively uses the symbols of the four main religions in India to attract followers: the Sikh Ek Onkar, the Muslim Star and Crescent, the Hindu Om, and the Christian Cross.

In summary, DSS has created an amalgam religion which primarily attempts to copy Sikhi and is offensive to Sikhs and those of many other religions. Under Indian law, this deliberate offense is illegal. Indian Penal Code 295a reads: "Whoever, with deliberate and malicious intention of outraging the religious feelings of any class of [citizens of India], [by words, either spoken or written, or by signs or by visible representations or otherwise], insults or attempts to insult the religion or the religious beliefs of that class, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to [three years], or with fine, or with both.]"

In a December, 2002 letter to then Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a female member of DSS accused Gurmeet ram of sexually exploiting his "Sadhvis," or female followers. The anonymous author of the letter, whose family urged her to become a "Sadhvi," says:

"Two years after I became a 'Sadhvi', a special woman-disciple of Maharaj Gurmeet ram came to me one night at 10 o'clock and said that the Maharaj had summoned me to his room. I felt elated that Maharaj himself sent for me. I was going to him for the first time. After climbing the stairs, when I went into his room, I saw that he was holding a remote in his hand and was watching a blue [pornographic] film on the TV. Beside his pillow on the bed, lay a revolver.... He offered me water and said that he had called me because he considered me very close to him. This was my first experience. Maharaj took me in his embrace and said that he loved me from the core of his heart. He also said that he wanted to make love with me. He told me that at the time of becoming his disciple, I had dedicated my wealth, body and soul to him and he had accepted my offering. When I objected he said, 'There is no doubt that I am God.'"

Gurmeet ram then blackmailed the "Sadhvi" into having sex with him by threatening to kill her and her family. She claims that many other Sadhvis are regularly raped by Gurmeet Singh, saying that her time comes "every 25-30 days." She says other Sadhvis who have tried to reveal their sexual exploitation have been threatened, beaten, and even maimed. This letter inspired an investigation of the DSS by India's central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

On October 24, 2003 two men riding a motorcycle and claiming to be from DSS shot journalist Ram Chandra Chatrapati four times at point-blank range. Chatrapati was the editor of "Poora Sach" and had been investigating the recent charges of sexual exploitation by Gurmeet Singh. He died of his injuries a month later. Two men arrested on suspicion of Chatrapati's murder said they were DSS followers and had been sent on orders from Kishan Li, a senior DSS official, to kill Chatrapati because of his investigations.

Sirsa District Deputy Commissioner D. Suresh says his office has also received multiple complaints about the Sirsa-based DSS allegedly being involved in the theft of land, drug distribution, and tax evasion.

After the mid-May 2007 publication of the offensive DSS advertisement, many Sikhs in Punjab protested Gurmeet ram's attempted copy of Guru Gobind. DSS followers retaliated, assaulting many Sikhs and injuring many of the police trying to calm the situation. Over 100 people were injured by DSS followers, many of them police. They also attacked fire personnel, set a police jeep on fire, and attacked a deputy commissioner's residence. Worst of all,

1. Kamaljit Singh, a Sikh, was killed on May 17th by a bullet fired from inside a Sunam, Punjab DSS compound.

2. On 20th june Friday, Guemeet Ram, who is accused of multiple murders and rapes, was visiting a shopping mall in this north-eastern suburb of Bombay when several Sikh youths protested his presence. In response, gurmeet ram and his bodyguards fired many rounds of ammunition from their assault rifles into the crowd of Sikhs, resulting in the death of Bhai Balkar Singh and injuring dozens of others.
