It is learnt that leaders/representatives of certain Sikh organizations
and Radha Soami Dera representative jointly laid the foundation stone
of a Gurudwara Sahib near Waraich Village, situated in the vicinity of
Dera Radha Swami Beas. The foundation stone was reportedly laid on March
05, 2013.

It is notable that this Gurudwara Sahib
was demolished by Dera Radha Swami to secure the expansion of the dera.
After the demolition of the Gurudwara Sahib the Radha Swami Dera’s
management had extended boundary wall of dera to cover the area where
the Gurudwara Sahib was situated. Some media sections have reported that
“ inside the premises of the sect’s headquarters at Beas”.
As per media reports among prominent
persons who were present at time of foundation stone laying ceremony
included Gurinder Singh Dhillon (Head of Dera Radha Swami Beas), ormer
MP Dhian Singh Mand, Harbir Singh Sandhu, Jarnail Singh Sakira, Imam
Singh Mann of Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar led by S. Simranjit Singh
Mann; Sikh preacher Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal, SGPC member Gurpeet Singh
and former leader of Damdami Taksal Bhai Mohkam Singh.
It is leant that Before laying the foundation stone an ardas (prayer) was performed.
As per a news report published by
Business-Standard Sikh representatives spent few hours inside the Dera
Baba Jaimal Singh with Gurinder Singh Dhillon and also took a round of
the 3,000 acres Dera.
It is also learnt that after the laying
down the foundation stone all, including Gurinder Singh Dhillon, paid
obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar.
It is believed that after the demolition
of Waraich Village Gurudwara Sahib Dera Radha Swami’s activities were
exposed in the public for the first time therefore Dera head was keen to
settle the issue in order to prevent further damage to Dera’s image.
